The momentus day of INVESTITURE CEREMONY held on 26th of june 2023 dawned to bestow responsibilities on the deserving young talents of the school to lead their school from the front with their comminment, confidence and competence. To inculcate the leadership qualities in students and to give them a feel of being an important and integral part of the school, Student council is formed every year. The event began with an introduction of the respected chief guest Mrs. Hemamalini Jairam – Educator and advocate for autism and a short-spoken speech on leadership. The school heads including the principal Mrs. Harshida Harikumar pinned the badges to the newly elected members of the student council. And the oath taking ceremony was administered to them. The Vice-principal Mrs. Susie Pinto delivered a pertinent speech, acquainting the newly-appointed prefects their duties subsequently lead by a march past by the newly elected student council that embodied the contribution of school’s convention of delegating the responsibilities to the newly elected leaders to spread the light of knowledge and pass on the rich legacy of values of ‘Manasarowara Pushkarini Vidyashrama’ to all the students. The school choir presented a song on leadership along with the student council members.
Later, the students of grade 8 presented a dance on the theme ‘leadership’. The school captains Abhay S and Aishwarya S Dillikar proposed the vote of thanks. The vice-captains Amruth and Deepashree also proposed their vote of thanks and the programme concluded with the singing of the national anthem.
