The 23rd of December marked the 34th school day of Mansarovar Pushkarini Vidhyashrama. D Mahesh Kumar, IFS and Mrs Shubha Sanjay Urs, entrepreneur and founder of the Mysuru literary forum charitable trust, graced the occasion as chief guest and special guest for the grand function. Toppers of the CBSE 2021-22 batch were honoured with awards for their commendable performance.

      The theme of the program was ‘Prakriti Eva Sharanam’ respecting and submitting oneself to mother nature in recognition that we come from the Panchabuta’s and get absorbed into the same as our span is over. The junior school gave a glimpse of the Panchabuta’s and the senior school presented the five venerable trees and how they’re portrayed globally.

    Some notable performances included a kannada skit ‘Vriksha Aaradhana’, a tableau of dances showcasing the way the Banni tree is worshipped and celebrated and a grand finale which consisted of dances form class 1-10 portraying the commitment to mother nature.
