Workshop on ‘Leader In Me’ was conducted by Dr. Kannan Gireesh from 16th to 17th May 2024 attended by 99 staff members of Manasarowar Pushkarini Vidyashrama Mysuru.

Life is no small stream but a broad and torrential river. You come across rocks, rapids, whirlpools and even small waterfalls. This workshop enlightened us to use the 7 beautiful habits of life that will help us to achieve our goals effectively.

The 7 habits that needs to be incorporated are:-

• Be proactive
• Begin with the end in mind
• Put first things first
• Think win – win
• Seek first to understand then to be understood
• Synergise
• Sharpen the saw

From teacher’s point of view it is our responsibility to ignite leadership qualities in each and every student.

As rightly told by Stephen R Covey, “Leadership is communicating child’s worth and potential so clearly that they are inspired to see it in themselves.”
