World Sanskrit Day is also known as Sanskrit Diwas which is celebrated every year on Shravana Purnima that is on full moon day in the month of Shravana according to the Hindu calendar. World Sanskrit Day is observed to raise the importance of our mother language Sanskrit.

Our school is known for its unique way of observing traditional days. WE AT PUSHKARINI, celebrated the WORLD SANSKRIT DAY with a divine feel about the language SANSKRIT. It has been a custom in our MANASAROWAR PUSHKARINI VIDYASHRAMA that every year, this traditional day is celebrated like all the other major festivals. The main motto behind this celebration is to spread the dynamic nature and ancient history of this beautiful language SANSKRIT. Singing competitions were held for the teachers where the different groups of teachers sung various bhakti geetas, Shlokas and many other traditional songs. Teachers with high enthusiasm, took part in it and competed with high spirits. Then the various competitions were held in our school for students of different schools. The students from various schools in and around MYSURU graced the day with their wonderful talents and filled the day with much more divine feeling and secured respective prizes.
